Whole wheat pizza crust for a bread machine. Makes two medium pizzas (or 8 2-slice servings).

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Pizza Crust (for bread machine)

14 oz Water
0.75 teaspoon Truvia
1.5 tsp Salt, Table
1.5 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil
0.625 oz Bread Machine Yeast
9 serving King Arthur Unbleached White Whole Wheat Flour
9 serving Meijer Enriched All-purpose Flour

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Pizza Crust (for bread machine)

  1. Add ingredients according to your bread machine's manual (usually wet ingredients followed by dry).

  2. Run bread machine pizza dough cycle. If you have the time, let the dough continue to rest in the bread machine for an hour after the cycle ends.

  3. Preheat oven to 500 F (for 20 minutes with pizza stones in it if you are using them).

  4. Split dough into two equal rounds.

  5. Dust pizza peel or cutting board with flour or cornmeal.

  6. Roll out pizzas to desired size/thickness on dusted surface.

  8. Brush edges of crust lightly with olive oil.

  9. Top with favorite combination of sauce/cheese/veggies/meats.

  10. Slide onto pizza stones or baking trays (which should also be dusted with flour or cornmeal!!).
