Delicious homemade whole wheat pita pockets with dough made in bread machine.

Recipe Ingredients for Whole wheat pita pocket dough

1 c water
8 t olive oil
4 t sugar
1 t salt
3 c white whole wheat flour
2 t active dry yeast

Recipe Directions for Whole wheat pita pocket dough

  1. Place dough on lightly floured surface and divide into 10 pieces. Shape each into a ball.

  2. Form 10 balls.

  3. Let rise 20 minutes.

  4. With rolling pin, flatten each into a 6" circle.

  5. Bake at 500 degrees for 5 minutes or until tops begin to brown.
