Whole wheat pizza made with 1/2 of a pita

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Pita Pizza

1/2 whole wheat pita
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1/4 cup light mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup green peppers
1/4 cup onion
1/4 cup mushroom pieces
1/4 cup black olives

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Pita Pizza

  1. Warm 1/2 of a whole wheat pita just until soft

  2. Carefully, cut around the closed end of the pita and lay it out flat with inside sides up making a circle

  3. Spread pizza sauce over the two halves

  4. Top with remaining ingredients with cheese on top

  5. Bake on a pizza pan or screen for 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Let cool and enjoy
