Recipe Ingredients for whole wheat pita pizza

8 pocket Mr. Pita Pita Bread
2 Tomato Roma
1/4 cup Basil, Fresh
1 cup spinach
2 cloves garlic minced
1 cup shredded mozzarella Cheese
1 cup pizza sauce
4 tsp grated parmesan cheese
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Recipe Directions for whole wheat pita pizza

  1. Heat 1 Tbsp EVO using med flame; add minced garlic and quick saute for 30 seconds; add spinach and stir until wilted.

  2. For each whole pita; 1/4 C pizza sauce, 1/4 C Mo cheese, spinach, roma toms and basil.

  3. Drizzle wth EVO and sprinkle with grated parm.

  4. 350 degrees for 15 minutes, finish in broiler.
