Recipe Ingredients for Whole wheat pita bread

2 cups white whole wheat flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons yeast
1 cups water, roughly at room temperature
2 tablespoons olive oil

Recipe Directions for Whole wheat pita bread

  1. Combine ingredients in bread machine and set to dough cycle.

  2. When complete, make 8 balls from dough. Cover with damp towel and let set for 20 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400 degrees and put baking pans in oven so they are hot when you are ready to bake.

  4. Roll each ball into a circle.

  5. Place on hot pans for 5 minutes.
