Recipe Ingredients for Whole wheat pecan pancakes

1/2 cup Wheat Flour, Whole-grain
1/2 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Unenriched
1/4 cup dry Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
1/4 cup, chopped Pecans
2 1/2 tsp unpacked Sugars, Brown
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Leavening Agents, Baking Soda
0.13 tsp Salt, Table
1 cup Milk, Buttermilk, Fluid, Cultured, Lowfat
1 large Egg, White
1 tbsp Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Whole wheat pecan pancakes

  1. Mix dry ingredients in large mixing bowl.

  2. Mix wet ingredients in a mid-size mixing bowl.

  3. Heat skillet over medium heat; add butter or oil as preferred.

  4. Mix wet and dry ingredients together; do not over-mix.

  5. Mix should end up stiff but pourable.

  6. Pour about 1 ladleful into skillet and shape.

  7. Cook until small bubbles appear in upwards face; flip and cook to taste.
