Ok, this is the same recipe I posted earlier, but with the healthier choices. Still great leftover and about 100 calories better for you!

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Pasta with Tomatoes and Turkey Sausage

13 1/4 ounces Whole wheat rotini
29 ounces Diced Tomatoes with Basil Garlic and Oregano
1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
16 ounces Italian Turkey Sausage

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Pasta with Tomatoes and Turkey Sausage

  1. Cook pasta in boiling water. Drain.

  2. Brown sausage in large, high walled pan on medium heat. Drain fat.

  3. Place back on heat. Add both cans of tomatoes with liquid. Let about half of the liquid cook down.

  4. Combine the pasta, sausage and tomatoes in a large lasagna dish. Mix well. Top with parmesan cheese.
