Pretty self-explanatory. The dusted powdered sugar makes it a great lure for the kiddies.

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Pancakes

2 cups flour, whole wheat
1 cup milk
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 tbsp oil, canola
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
4 tbsp sugar, powdered
3 tbsp lemon juice

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Pancakes

  1. Mix flour, cinnamon, milk, egg until smooth.

  2. Put the oil in a cast iron skillet and pour batter in cast iron skillet (whatever size option you prefer). I normally fill to the edge for speed sake.

  3. Put cast iron skillet in the oven at 350. I like this method since it takes about 10 minutes to cook, but if you get distracted, they are difficult to burn too.

  4. Remove from oven, serve with sprinkled lemon juice and powdered sugar over the top. No need for syrup!
