Much more filling than made with white flour alone.

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Pancakes

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 egg
1 2/3 cup skim milk

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Pancakes

In large bowl, mix flours, sugar, salt, and baking powder. In a smaller bowl, beat egg, then add milk. Combine the liquid with the dry ingredients and mix just until everything is moistened. Small clumps are okay. Use about 1/4 c of batter for each pancake. You may want to add a little more or less milk, depending on your personal preference. Can also be used for waffles.
