sustitute rolled oats for 12 grain cereal

Recipe Ingredients for whole wheat pancakes

1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 tbsp baking powder
1 egg
1 cup skim milk
1 tbsp splenda
1 tsp canola oil
1/2 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for whole wheat pancakes

  1. Mix together all dry ingredients in a medium mixing bowl.

  2. Mix wet ingredients in a smaller bowl. Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients. Pour wet ingredients over the dry ingredients slowly, stirring the whole time. Let mixture stand for about twenty minutes.

  3. Heat a pancake pan on medium heat, then take the temp down to low.

  4. Over low heat, pour batter onto pancake pan in 1/4 cup increments. flip after 3 minutes.
