An adaptation of my grandmother's recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Pancakes

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons butter, melted

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Pancakes

  1. Sift together dry ingredients.

  2. Add milk, egg and butter.

  3. Mix well until mostly smooth.

  4. Cook on heated, lightly oiled griddle or in skillet.

  5. Eat! Yum!
