Nice simple pancakes. I use white whole wheat flour. You can add fruit or nuts, too, and it works just fine.

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Pancakes

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 eggs
2 cups milk

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Pancakes

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.

  2. Whisk until smooth.

  3. Pour by 1/4-cupfuls onto greased griddle or frying pan.

  4. When bubbles begin to appear on top, flip.

  5. Cook until they spring back when touched.
