Tender lowfat pancakes that can be made any flavor depending on the yogurt used.

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Panacakes

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
6 oz nonfat yogurt
3/4 cups skim milk
2 egg whites

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Panacakes

  1. Spray griddle with nonstick cooking spray and turn heat to medium.

  2. Mix together the dry ingredients until well combined. Stir in remaining ingredients until well mixed. The batter will be thick.

  3. Drop 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake and cook on one side until bubbles form around the edges. Turn and cook until browned.

  4. Makes 11-12 pancakes.
