Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Onion Pizza

4 serving Flour
21 oz Yeast
1 serving Olive Oil
3 serving Pure Cane Sugar
1.25 Glass Water
5 1tsp Olive Oil
1 cup Cheese
0.25 cup, sliced Onions
4 oz Onions
1.5 cup Spinach
1 tbsp Garlic Powder

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Onion Pizza

  1. Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and warm water, and 1 tsp olive oil together to create dough. Let the dough rise for about an hour. You take the dough, kneed it if you want to or just spread it onto a cookie sheet to create a 8 x 12 inch rectangle. Put some olive oil on a tablespoon and sprinkle on the surface of the dough. You should spread the oil out with the bottom of a spoon till it covers most of the rectangle. Leave about a 1 inch border without oil. Sprinkle 1 -2 tsp of sea salt on the surface. Sprinkle about 3-4 tsp of Garlic Powder and Italian seasoning on the surface of the dough. Sweat the 1/2 onions in a 1/2 tsp of olive oil. Do not completely sweat it or fry it in oil. When done, sprinkle the onions on the surface of the pizza dough. You should then cut about 1/8 cup of raw onions and spread it on the pizza dough. Chop up the spinach and sprinkle that on top of the pizza. Finally, sprinkle the cheese on top of it and bake in the oven for maybe 15-20 minutes or until cheese is brown. When it is done, cut the pizza into half width wise and then cut each half in half. You should get slices that are about 3-4 inches in height and 5-6 inches in length.

  2. You can serve it with salad, like Romaine Lettuce leaves or you can do what I did, which is serve it with my Sweet Baby's Chicken Salad.
