With no butter. I'm not gonna lie--they don't exactly have the same texture of a cookie. But it hits the spot for a craving.

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Oatmeal Choc Chip "Cookies"

2/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Oatmeal Choc Chip "Cookies"

  1. Combine sugars and applesauce.

  2. Add egg and vanilla.

  3. Combine dry ingredients and add to wet.

  4. Add in chocolate chips.

  5. Bake at 375 for 8 minutes. Let sit on cookie sheet for 5 minutes.
