1.7 CPG or 48CPO waffles or pancakes are absolutely delicious. Great hearty taste with most of the grains intact.

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Oat Waffles or Pancakes

1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup oats, old fashioned
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/4 cups skim milk
1 tbsp apple sauce
1 egg

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Oat Waffles or Pancakes

  1. Mix dry ingredients together in large bowl

  2. Mix wet ingredients together in small bowl

  3. Quickly and lightly fold wet into dry until just fully mixed.

  4. Cook on heated waffle iron for 4 to 5 minutes

  5. Alternatively, use as a pancake batter and cook on a griddle.
