Recipe Ingredients for whole wheat no knead bread

3 c wheat flour
1/4 t instant yeast
1 1/2 t salt
1 1/2 c water

Recipe Directions for whole wheat no knead bread

  1. Combine ingredients in non-reactive bowl. Cover, and let sit overnight.

  2. Punch down, and let rest another 2 hours.

  3. pre-heat oven to 450 for at least half an hour, with dutch oven inside.

  4. Bake with lid on the dutch oven for 30 min.

  5. Remove lid, bake an additional 10 minutes, then turn out onto a rack to cool. Do not cut for at least 30 min, or the bread will fall.
