used 1/2 cup sugar free maple syrup 1 cup 6 grain hot cereal

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Muffins

1 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbs canola oil
2 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup water
9/10 cup oatmeal
1 tbs brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Muffins

  1. Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl.

  2. Next combine wet ingredients in a bowl and then mix well with dry ingredients.

  3. Pour into prepared muffin pans and bake at 375 for 20 to 25 minutes

  4. Sprinkle brown sugar on top during last couple minutes
