This whole wheat muffins recipe has coconut oil and maple syrup instead of the regular sugar and vegetable oil.

Recipe Ingredients for Whole wheat muffins

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup maple syrup
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup coconut oil
1 egg

Recipe Directions for Whole wheat muffins

  1. Oven 400 degrees.

  2. Mix all dry ingredients in one bowl and wet ones in a different bowl.

  3. Melt coconut oil by placing it in a cup and putting the cup in hot water.

  4. Blend melted coconut oil with dry ingredients and mix well, then add wet ingredients.

  5. Put in greased muffin pans and bake for 25 minutes.
