Whole Wheat Low Fat Oatmeal Cookies

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Low Fat Oatmeal Cookies

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup applesauce, unsweetened
2 egg whites
1 cup brown sugar
2 tbls butter
1 1/3 cup rolled oats
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup pecans
1/4 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Low Fat Oatmeal Cookies

  1. Combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt in bowl. Mix well

  2. Combine brown sugar, egg whites, applesauce, butter and vanilla. Mix until small crumbs appear. Add in flour mixture. Add oats, nuts and pecans.

  3. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes
