Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Lasagna

8 oz. lasagna noodles, whole wheat
24 oz. cottage cheese, fat free
12 oz. mozzarella cheese, part skim, shredded
3 oz. cheese, Parmesan
24 oz. spaghetti sauce, Prego
12 oz. water

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Lasagna

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. Combine jar of sauce with water in a bowl or pitcher.

  3. Mix all cheeses in another bowl.

  4. In a lightly greased 9 x 13 baking pan, layer in about a cup of sauce mixture, a third of the noodles (pressing noodles down), and then a third of the cheese mixture. Repeat twice more, topping with remaining sauce.

  5. Bake 45 to 55 minutes until lightly browned and bubbly. Allow to stand 15 minutes.
