Recipe Ingredients for Whole wheat lasagna with ground turkey and vegetables

1 cup Carrots
1 cup Yellow Squash
1 1/2 cups Broccoli
56 oz Canned Crushed Tomatoes
20 oz Whole wheat lasagna Noodles
8 quarts Water
18 oz Ground Turkey
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Garlic
2 lbs Ricotta Cheese
1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
1 tbsp Ground White Pepper
1 tbsp Parmesan
1 tsp Thyme
1 1/2 cups mozzarella
1 tbsp salt

Recipe Directions for Whole wheat lasagna with ground turkey and vegetables

  1. Noodles

  2. 1. Pour the water in the pot, and add salt.

  3. 2. Bring to a boil then add the lasagna noodles.

  4. 3. Cook noodles until al dente.

  5. Meat

  6. 1. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to the turkey.

  7. 2. Add oil to the pan.

  8. 3. Then add turkey.

  9. 4. Cook until white/brown.

  10. Sauce

  11. 1. Peel and shred carrots, broccoli, and yellow squash.

  12. 2. Add together in large bowl, then pour in onion powder.

  13. 3. Mince 1 tsp of garlic.

  14. 4. Sauté in pan with oil.

  15. 5. Add in crushed tomato until warm.

  16. 6. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  17. Add all together

  18. 1. Preheat the oven on 400 degrees.

  19. 2. Add sauce to bottom of pan.

  20. 3. Add a layer of noodles.

  21. 4. More sauce.

  22. 5. Add all of the meat.

  23. 6. Add sauce and cheese.

  24. 7. More noodles.

  25. 8. Then repeat until out of ingredients.

  26. 9. Put in oven and cook for an hour.
