Recipe Ingredients for Whole wheat honey muffins


Batter:
2/3 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 egg
6 tbsp 2% milk
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp canola oil

Filling:
1 cup chopped apple
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1 cinnamon to taste
1 nutmeg to taste

Recipe Directions for Whole wheat honey muffins

  1. Whisk the wet ingredients until the honey dissolves

  2. Add the dry ingredients and stir until incorporated, but lumpy.

  3. Stir the filling in gently.

  4. Divide mixture into a muffin pan with paper liners.

  5. Bake at 400F for 15 minutes.
