A very good cracker base. Feel free to play around with it: adding spices, sugars, and such can make a very tasty snack. This recipe should make about 4 baking sheets worth of crackers if rolled out nicely. One serving is about 2 large crackers.

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Crackers

1.75 cup Organic Whole Wheat Flour
1.5 cup All Purpose Flour
4 oz Domino Light Brown Sugar
0.33 cup Vegetable Oil, Canola
1 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Crackers

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Combine the flours and sugar.

  3. Blend in the remaining ingredients.

  4. Roll the dough out on a flat, greased baking pan on with parchment paper.

  5. Lightly cut the dough as you wish.

  6. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven, cut the dough all the way through, and return to the over for another 10-15 minutes.
