Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Cinnamon Rolls

1 1/4 c. warm water
1 T. yeast
1/4 c. honey
2 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 c. vital wheat gluten
1 t. salt
2 T. dry milk
1 T. butter
1 T. vinegar
1/4 c. potato flakes

Filling:
1 c. brown sugar
1 T. cinnamon
1/3 c. butter

Frosting:
4 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1 t. vanilla

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Cinnamon Rolls

  1. Mix bread ingredients according to bread maker instructions.

  2. Roll out. Mix filling ingredients to paste and spread over dough.

  3. Roll-up the dough and cut into 1 inch slices.

  4. Place on greased cookie sheet with edges almost touching.

  5. Allow to raise until double size.

  6. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes.

  7. For frosting: Cream together the cream cheese and butter. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla. Spread on rolls.
