Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Chocolate Chips Waffles

1 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1 3/4 cups skim milk
1/2 cup canola oil
1/4 cup chocolate chips
3 tbsp chocolate chips
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Chocolate Chips Waffles

  1. Mix try ingredients. Make a well in the center of the dry mixture and set aside.

  2. In another bowl, beat eggs. Mix in milk and oil. Stir liquid mixture into dry mixture, stirring until just moistened.

  3. Stir in chocolate chips, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Pour in batches into preheated waffle maker and bake.
