2 cups Organic whole wheat pastry flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/4 cup buttermilk
1 egg , lightly beaten
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup honey
1 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Muffins

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. 3. Sift together the flour and baking soda.

  3. 4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg whites, oil, and honey until creamy, then stir in the chocolate chips.
