Just our daily bread. The whole-wheat flour is best if it's freshly ground, though the grinder makes an unholy racket.

1/4 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 c whole-wheat flour
1 1/2 c white flour
2 1/4 tsp yeast
