This is the recipe from Williams-Sonoma book "Bread" and I used it in my breadmeaker (setting for 3 Lb bread)

Recipe Ingredients for Whole wheat bread

1 1/2 tbsp yeast
1 cup water
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup canola oil
1 tbsp salt
5 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup bread flour
1/2 tsp brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Whole wheat bread

  1. In your breadmaker, put wet ingredients first, then dry ones

  2. The last one that should go in is yeast.

  3. Note: water has to be 115 F and the buttermilk has to be on a room temperature
