just a basic wheat bread recipe. It does make 4 loaves of about 12 slices each (depends on how thickly you slice them) I usually halve the recipe or the loaves freeze well after baked too.

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Bread

3 1/2 c water, lukewarm
1 tbsp. salt
1/4 c. honey
1/2 c. vegetable or canola oil
3 eggs
3/4 oz. yeast
3 1/2 c. wholewheat flour
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Bread

  1. Dissolve the yeast in the water.

  2. Add remaining ingredients except flours.

  3. Add flour, may need more than 7 c. to achieve the right texture, but 7 usually is enough.

  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface.

  5. Allow to rise. Punch down.

  6. Separate and put into 4 loaf pans.

  7. Let rise.

  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min. until golden brown.
