Whole Wheat bread with ground Flax

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Bread with Flax

4 cup Rogers No Additive Whole Wheat Flour
5 tbsp Milled Flax Seed
12 tsp Vital Wheat Gluten
2 oz Yeast
6 tsp Pure Raw Honey
2 cup Organic Low Fat Milk 1% Milkfat
1 tsp Salt, Table
1 cup Enriched Unbleached White Flour

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Bread with Flax

warm milk, add warm water, add yeast, and honey. Let stand 10 min. In another bowl combine, 2 cups wheat flour, 1 cup white flour, flax, gluten, and salt. In mixing bowl slowly add the flour while mixing. Add remaining flour as need to make the mixture where it just pulls away from the side of the bowl. Continue to let knead for 5 minutes. Place in a oiled bowl in a warm spot and let raise for 1 hour. Punch down and knead 3 - 5 minutes more. Divide into 2 loaves. Place in a grease loaf pan and allow to raise in a warm place covered with a cloth for 30 minutes. Cook at 350 for 40 minutes.
