Home made waffles!! Much better (and healthier) than the store bought stuff..

Recipe Ingredients for Whole wheat blueberry waffles

1/8 c flax,ground
1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
3/4 tsp ground ginger
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups skim milk
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup canola oil
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

Recipe Directions for Whole wheat blueberry waffles

  1. Mix dry ingredients separately from wet

  2. Mix dry and wet together (consistency should be of a pancake dough)

  3. Put 1 c of mixture in your preheated waffle maker and bake according to manufacturers instructions until golden brown
