Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Blueberry Pancakes

1/2 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon ground flax seed
1 tablespoon wheat germ
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 egg whites
1 cup skim milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 cup blueberries

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Blueberry Pancakes

Sift together the first 5 ingredients and set aside. Beat together the egg, milk, salt, and sugar in a bowl. Stir in the flour mixture just until moistened. Don't over mix. Fold in the blueberries. Preheat an electric skillet to 325 and spray with cooking spray. Pour approximately 1/4 cup of the batter into the pan for each pancake. Cook until bubbly, about 1 1/2 minutes. Turn and continue cooking until golden brown.
