Whole wheat pancakes with blue berries

Recipe Ingredients for Whole wheat blue berry pancakes

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
3 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp white sugar
1 1/2 cups skim milk
1 egg
3 tbsp margarine
1 cup blueberries

Recipe Directions for Whole wheat blue berry pancakes

  1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted margarine; mix until smooth

  2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approx. 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
