Very Tasty Banana Nut Bread made with applesauce instead of vegetable oil.

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Blend Banana Nut Bread

0.75 cup mix Whole Wheat
4 serving Flour
1/4 cup Chopped Walnuts
1 tsp Baking Powder
0.5 tsp Baking Soda
3.5 oz Natural Cane Turbinado Sugar
1 cup Natural Apple Sauce
2 large Egg, Whole
0.25 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
7.5 oz Bananas
200 cal Raisins Mini-Snacks

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Blend Banana Nut Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. Spray 8"x 4" loaf pan with nonfat cooking spray.

  3. Combine flour, mix, walnuts, baking powder and baking soda in large bowl. Set aside.

  4. In mixer bowl, combine sugar and applesauce on medium speed for 1 minute. Add eggs and milk, mix 1 minute or until smooth.

  5. Add flour mixture and bananas alternately, mix just until dry ingredients are incorporated.

  6. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 50-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

  7. Cool in pan 5 minutes. Remove from pan: cool completely.
