Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Biscuits

0.5 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
1.5 cup Wheat Flour, Whole-grain
3 tsp Baking Powder
3 tsp Spices Parsley Flakes
15 tsp Becel Regular Margarine
0.75 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
1 large Egg, Whole

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Biscuits

  1. In medium bowl combine all dry ingredients.

  2. Cut in margerine until mixture resembles fine crumbs.

  3. Combine milk and egg. Add to dry ingredients.

  4. Turn out on lightly floured surface and knead about 10 times.

  5. You can now roll dough and cut with round cookie cutter or shape into equal sized rounds by hand.

  6. Place in a 450 F oven for 10 - 12 minutes, or until golden.

  7. Serve warm.
