Whole Wheat Waffles for Breakfast

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Belgian Waffles

1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
2 egg yolks
1 1/4 cups 1% milk
1/4 cup canola oil
2 egg whites

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Belgian Waffles

Sift together whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Gradually add to the ingredient and beat on high speed: 2 egg yolks, 1.25 cups of milk, 1/4 cup oil. Fold in 2 beaten egg whites. Sift drying ingredients together. Add egg yolks and milk gradually, beating on low speed. Add oil. Batter will be very thin. Beat hard 2 for 2 minutes. Fold in beaten egg whites. Bake in preheated waffle iron. This recipie is fluflly and delicious.
