Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Bannoch

2 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups white flour
1 tsp salt
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tablespoon sugar
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup raisins
1 egg
1 3/4 cup buttermilk

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Bannoch

Add wet to dry ingredients. Mix quickly. Knead. Divide batter in two. Slash cakes with knife. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
