Low fat, low cal, made with yogurt and egg whites instead of oil, and whole eggs. Very good. Makes 6-5" servings

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Banana Waffles

1 1/3 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup skim milk
1/3 cup egg whites
1/4 c yogurt, skim
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 banana, diced

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Banana Waffles

Beat egg whites; add milk and yogurt. Combine salt, and flour. Add to first mixture. Beat until smooth. Sift baking powder lightly over the mixture and fold in quickly. Bake in hot waffle iron.
