Recipe Ingredients for Whole Wheat Banana Peanut Bread

2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup wheat bran
1 cup peanuts, chopped
4 bananas
1 cup applesauce, natural
3 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla
1 cup brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Whole Wheat Banana Peanut Bread

  1. Mix wet ingredients and dry ingredients separately in two large bowls.

  2. Fold together wet and dry ingredients in a third huge bowl and place in two standard thoroughly greased baking pans

  3. Bake for one hour at 350 degrees. Use the clean toothpick test to check for doneness.

  4. Allow to cool on a wire rack one hour before cutting.
