Makes 4 servings



Whole wheat flour and honey make these healthier than regular pancakes. You can omit the brown sugar. I used Splenda Blend Brown Sugar. The ground cloves really give these a unique flavor. Makes about 12-14 pancakes.

Recipe Ingredients for Whole wheat Banana Nut Pancakes

2 cups whole wheat flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
3 bananas
1/4 cup honey
2 egg
3/4 cup skim milk
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1/8 cup light brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Whole wheat Banana Nut Pancakes

Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl, set aside. Combine the wet ingredients. Note: if your milk is cold the honey will not miz in easily. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and combine. Add more milk to thin out, flour to thicken.
