Recipe Ingredients for Whole Grain Waffles

1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tbsp oatmeal
1 tbsp sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups skim milk
1/2 cup butter

Recipe Directions for Whole Grain Waffles

  1. Combine dry ingredients.

  2. Stir in eggs & milk.

  3. Add melted butter (or applesauce).

  4. Pour onto hot waffle iron. If using applesauce instead of butter, watch for sticking.

  5. Enjoy!
