Delicious fresh tasting whole grain cornbread.

Recipe Ingredients for Whole Grain Corn Bread

1 cup corn meal, plain, yellow
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp baking powder
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups 1% milk
2 tbsp Smart Balance Butter

Recipe Directions for Whole Grain Corn Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

  2. Mix all dry ingredients together.

  3. Melt butter sticks.

  4. Beat eggs, milk and melted butter sticks together.

  5. Add to dry ingredients and mix.

  6. Pour in greased pour in your favorite cast iron skillet or baking pan of your choice.

  7. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until done.
