Recipe Ingredients for Whole Grain Breakfast Cereal

1 c. wheat berries
1 c. rye
1 c. barley
1 c. brown rice
1 c. buckwheat groats
1 c. millet
1 c. sesame seeds
1 c. flaxseed
1 c. lentils
10 c. old-fashioned oatmeal

Recipe Directions for Whole Grain Breakfast Cereal

  1. Mix it up in large bowl

  2. To cook: 2 cups of cereal to 5 cups water, bring to a boil and let it sit overnight.

  3. In the morning heat a serving in the microwave with a little milk or juice.

  4. You can add raisins, craisins , or other dried fruit when you reheat.

  5. This is a chewey and satisfying cereal mix that will stay with you for a long time.

  6. (To cook in the micro., use 1 cup cereal + 2 1/2 c. water and cook on medium power for 10 minutes. Cook 1 minute longer on Hi power and let it sit overnight.)
