Recipe Ingredients for White wine tomato butter sauce

4 medium raw Tomato Roma
4 fl oz Wine, Table, White
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 tbsp chopped Shallots
2 tbsp Butter
1/3 cup leaves, whole Basil, Fresh
4 clove Garlic

Recipe Directions for White wine tomato butter sauce

Saute shallots in olive oil until slightly sweated, then add garlic until fragrant. Add crushed tomatoes to pan. Add white wine. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Let cook until the sauce reduces and thickens. Salt and pepper to taste. Add butter and stir until melted, then add basil, and serve over pasta.
