A sauce for shredded chicken or other meat item

Recipe Ingredients for White Trash Mole Sauce

29 ounce crushed tomatoes
6 ounce tomato paste
2 tbsp Olive Oil
20 Chili peppers
1 Bell Pepper
1 tsp salt
15 cloves garlic
1/2 Red Onion
1 1/2 tbsp Cumin
1 cup fresh cilantro
3 tbsp cocoa powder

Recipe Directions for White Trash Mole Sauce

  1. Clean and deseed and chop peppers, chop onion and garlic; use a couple of different kinds of peppers based on how spicy you like it

  2. Put large pot on medium and put in oil

  3. When oil is hot add onion

  4. When onion has softened add chopped peppers and garlic

  5. When the garlic, peppers and onion are cooked, add cilantro, cumin, cocoa powder and salt, stir

  6. Add tomatoes and paste. Pour in a can full of water to give yourself some reduction room

  7. Bring to a low boil, then lower to a simmer. Stir every so often. The longer you can wait the better it will taste. An hour at least

  8. When it was cooked, I poured it over some cooked shredded chicken and let that simmer for 10 minutes or so. Served it over rice.
