Recipe Ingredients for White Potato Stotie Scones

500 g flour
300 g mashed potatoes
300 g water
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp yeast

Recipe Directions for White Potato Stotie Scones

  1. Add salt to flour and mix.

  2. In a seperate bowl mix potatoes, yeast and water.

  3. Add potato mixture to the flour and salt and mix by hand to get a rough dough.

  4. Place on a floured surface and knead for 10 seconds and form a ball.

  5. Return to the bowl and allow to rest for 10 min.

  6. Place on a floured surface and kneads for 10 min.

  7. Form a ball and cut into 4 pieces.

  8. Form a ball with each piece and form into a flat disc.

  9. Dust with flour and let rise for 45 min or until doubled in size.
