Recipe Ingredients for White fish & shrimp in a savory cream sauce

3 T becel margarine
3 T flour
2 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 tsp rosemary
1 tsp lemon pepper
1 tsp sage
2 tsp seasoning salt
2 tsp chili pepper
1/4 c lemon juice
3 c skim milk
202 g asparagus
250 g mushrooms
218 g leeks
250 g shrimp
1 tsp olive oil
2 lbs cod
1/4 c parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for White fish & shrimp in a savory cream sauce

  1. Spray a large casserole dish with no stick spray placing fish fillets inside. set aside.

  2. Melt butter in pan adding minced garlic, lemon juice, and sherry. Then add flour forming a paste. once paste is formed add milk whisking constantly til smooth. add the remaining seasoning whisking til saucey.

  3. Slice n dice veg.

  4. Heat the olive oil adding vegetables and shrimp. Seasoning slightly. Cook til shrimp are pink and vegetables are semi tender.

  5. Place over fish in casserole dish topping with the sauce, sprinkling the cheese over the whole thing.

  6. bake at 325 or 165 c for 20 to 25 minutes.
