A nice alternative to 'regular' chili.

Recipe Ingredients for White Chili Specialty

1 lb. Great northern beans (soaked overnight)
2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into 2 inch pieces)
1 medium onion, chopped
8 oz. green chilies (chopped)
1 t. cumin
1/2 t. salt
14 oz. chicken broth
1 c. water

Recipe Directions for White Chili Specialty

  1. Soak beans overnigiht in 4 cups of water.

  2. Bring to boil and simmer 20 minutes.

  3. Discard water.

  4. Combine beans, chicken, and all remaining ingredients in slow cooker.

  5. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or high for 5-6 hours.
