Recipe Ingredients for White Chicken Chili

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup onion, finely chopped
4 oz. green chilies, chopped
3 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons ground cumin
3 cups navy beans
14 1/2 ounces chicken broth
1 1/2 cup chicken breast, cooked and finely chopped

Recipe Directions for White Chicken Chili

In large skillet or dutch oven, cook onion in oil for 4 minutes or until transparent. Add chilies, flour and cumin. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add beans and chicken broth; bring to a boil. Reduce heat- simmer for 10 minutes or until thickened. Add chicken, cook until hot. Garnish with monterey jack cheese, sour cream, and salsa, if desired. (Garnishes not added in analysis of the recipe)
